the end???
Hey gang, That was the last chapter of Lullabies I ever wrote. I had several story arcs planned out, and of course, an endless supply of musical numbers. Maybe this year I'll write some more--- it's a good stress reliever for me, and you all seem to enjoy it. Stay tuned, my lieblings. Just check back every once in a while, see if anything pops up. As Denethor would say: same funky time, same funky channel. In the meantime, may the road rise up to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. There's no business like show business. ~ Phantom Current Music: Tomorrow --- Annie |

CHAPTER THIRTY
Author's Notes: And the hits keep coming! Jack is back for a snack attack! Or whatever. Plus, seriously, it's CATS. Awkward performers + unitards = pure comedy gold. ( Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats ) Current Music: Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats --- CATS |

CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
Author's Notes: EVERYONE IS SARUMAN IN DISGUISE!! FEEL THE WRATH OF MY H2O!! This chapter just zings with one-liners. If anyone makes any icons, please post them here so I can see them and LAUGH. ( One Day More! ) Current Music: One Day More! --- Les Miserables |

CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX
Author's Notes: I... love this chapter. There are too many awesome things to list. My favorite part is Faramir screaming "DESTROY! DESTROY!" at the end. ( Masquerade ) Current Music: Masquerade --- The Phantom of the Opera |

CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Author's Notes: Do you know what I've just realized? We lost the first episode of The Denethor Show! When I uploaded the last chapter to ff.net, I added the segment on a lark and completely forgot to save it to disk! All I remember is that it had a title card on paper that Denethor (of course) lit on fire, starting a string of attempts to destroy the title card at the beginning of every episode. The question he asked was, "Where should we mail Aragorn?" And at the end, when Gimli said, "Say goodbye, Denethor," Denethor answered, "Say goodbye, Denethor!" which started a string of weird closing lines for the show. Oh, well. We have the rest, and that's what counts. Also, this is probably the best chapter to date. It's got everything--- great backstage action, some hilarious dialogue, and of course... Captain Jack Sparrow. ( A Pirate's Life For Me ) Current Music: A Pirate's Life For Me --- Pirates of the Caribbean |

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Author's Notes: I think this chapter is where Lullabies started to really hit its stride. Merry starts on his obsession with chaos, the backstage segments get longer, and Grima gets backstage. Also, I love when Haldir and Legolas "leap and cavort like crazed wood sprites." Hee. The beginning of the chapter is a reference to a bit I added on ff.net--- I was going to visit New York, so I wrote a quick sequence in which Denethor, Gandalf, Gimli, and Bilbo were all tap-dancing around to "New York, New York." Sadly, this sequence has been lost to the ether. ( Get Me To The Church On Time ) Current Music: Get Me To The Church On Time --- My Fair Lady |

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
Author's Notes: I just... really like this chapter. You can't go wrong with The Sound of Music. ( So Long, Farewell ) Current Music: So Long, Farewell --- The Sound of Music |

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
Author's Notes: Hello, my darlings. It's time for me to post the rest of this lovely piece of insanity before I go back to college. Ah, yes, the infamous Who Are Haldir's Parents? scene. Hee. ( It's A Hard-Knock Life ) Current Music: It's A Hard-Knock Life --- Annie |

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
Author's Notes: Oh, yes. All the British characters celebrating the Fourth of July. Good times. And let's not forget... In the words of He Who Must Not Be Named himself: "Let's get this party started!" DENETHOR'S HERE! ( Patriotic Medley ) Current Music: Patriotic Medley |
| 2:50 pm |
CHAPTER TWENTY
Author's Notes: The sad thing is, I lost the posted version of this chapter. The one that went up on ff.net had an extended sequence with Merry and Pippin having a competition to list all the currency in the world. This is the original version, which I found stashed on the computer. *sigh* It's just not the same. ( Money ) Current Music: Money --- Cabaret |

Author's Notes: I still don't know why I made Boromir such a cheap drunk. Dai-dai-dai-dai-dai-dai! ( L'Chaim ) Current Music: L'Chaim --- Fiddler on the Roof |

CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Author's Notes: Sorry about the delay... ummm... *points* LOOK! DANCING WAITERS! ( Hello Dolly! ) Current Music: Hello ,Dolly! --- Hello, Dolly! |

CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Author's Notes: I TOTALLY adore this chapter; I think it's one of my favorites before we start to get into the later installments. Because let's face it, who doesn't love DENETHOR?? He's coming, my darlings, I promise. Sooooon! ( The Farmer and the Cowman ) Current Music: The Farmer and the Cowman --- Oklahoma! |
